Where to begin.. I am Kayli.
Also Lulu which is a nickname I have been called since I was little by my dad and family. I have grown up and lived most of my life in Minnesota. The land where it seems the only seasons are winter and cold.. currently it is suppose to be Spring and we have umpteen inches of snow and we think its warm when it gets to 30 degrees.
Family is very important to me. I love to read, bake, travel, take pictures, and make memories. I like to have fun and be funny, laughter is the best medicine! I am most of the time a stay at home mama to an amazing and fun little boy. The other part of my time away from home only a couple nights a week and every other weekend, I work as a direct care staff with mentally disabled individuals. I have always had a passion for helping others and it feels so great being able to make even a small difference in someones life. Which is why I have always wanted to become a Nurse. Someday that will happen, currently on hold while I enjoy my other lifelong dream of being a mommy and having a family.
I have been wanting to start a blog for awhile now. I think it will be a great way to share and document memories. It will also be nice to talk with people whose vocabulary consists of things other than cars, more, and eat. I have decided to start a blog to share mommyhood, stories, ideas, reviews, maybe a few recipes and crafts. I don't know how this all works so we will just see what happens!
My other half and the love of my life is Cory, who requested too be called C-Money.. think I will mostly use "C". He is in the Army. I can't express how proud I am of him. He does a very important and honorable job. He is in the Honor Guard (provides military funeral honors) he pays the respects and demonstrates gratitude for those who have defended our country. Despite the seriousness of his job, at home its always fun and jokes. He is an amazing man and dad. I can't imagine my life without him . This life isn't always easy but it could always be a lot harder so I just have to remind myself and be thankful he is not deployed or something like that.
Then there is Trey who we'll call "T". He is an amazing blessing! He will be 2 in just a few months I can't believe it. He is such a sweet, funny, and prefect little boy. He has such a great personality and he is so so funny. He is learning so much (not always good things). Then he breaks things, wrecks everything, tears everything apart, has tantrums and so on, oh boy. At the end of the day this little boy is my whole world.
I also love country music. So I had to share my picture, yes I got to meet Jason Aldean!! One of my favorites after Kenny Chesney :)
